Dr. Taylor Morrison
DVMDr. Taylor Morrison hails from the Midwest, graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She started her career as a preschool education teacher in the Chicago area. Dr. Morrison grew up loving animals, and eventually decided to combine this love for animals with her skills in working with people as a teacher to pursue a path in veterinary medicine. While taking her pre-requisite science course work, she worked as a veterinary receptionist/assistant and her career path was solidified. Dr. Morrison then went on to graduate from Iowa State University with her DVM degree in 2017.
Dr. Morrison has spent the past 9 years as a small animal veterinarian in Omaha, Nebraska. She has loved the Asheville area since 2016, and is excited to have the opportunity to live and work here. Dr. Morrison’s professional interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, senior care, client communication, and providing low-stress handling.
Dr. Morrison enjoys hiking, running, traveling, and trying various food establishments with her husband. She has 3 small dogs that will have to get used to mountain hikes!
